Max Johnson grew up surrounded by pets and always wanted a career with animals. They still can’t believe they get to be around animals all day - and get paid for it. Max Johnson is the proud parent to three fur babies.

River Watts started working at Crystalea Kelpies as a teenager and hasn’t lost any of their early passion. They love working with all animals, but have a special soft spot for furry babies.

Jesse Neimus

After working as a vet assistant, Jesse Neimus came to work at Crystalea Kelpies in 2000. Outside of work, they train service dogs for Veterans with PTSD and volunteer with various animal charities in San Francisco.
